Since 2017, Kickstarter has been our launchpad for innovation. With five successful campaigns, our community has helped us bring everything from stain-repellent shirts to our expandable, rainproof backpack to life.

CrowdAboutNow

Opening retail stores

When we decided to open our very first flagship store in Amsterdam, we knew we wanted to do it with our community. So we launched a crowdfunding campaign on the peer-to-peer lending platform CrowdAboutNow.

In just weeks, 232 amazing community members pitched in and lent us €400,000 to turn the dream into reality.

A few years later, it was time to open store number two, this time in Copenhagen. Riding the momentum of the first campaign, we returned to CrowdAboutNow and raised another €400,000, this time with the help of 140 loyal backers.

From customers to co-owners

After the success of our first two crowdfunding campaigns, we took things to the next level, giving our community the chance to become actual shareholders in LABFRESH.

Through our first equity crowdfunding round on Seedrs, 817 incredible backers invested a total of €1.3 million. That means 26% of our company is now owned by our customers — the people who believe in what we’re building as much as we do.

Launching womenswear

Most recently, we raised €1,000,000 via bonds at a 7% annual return to
fund the launch of our new women’s collection, LIV by LABFRESH. The campaign was fully funded in just a few days.
